Job summary

Qualifications

• Grade 12 or equivalent; English literacy required.
• Mechanical/technical qualifications are advantageous.
• Minimum 2 years in production supervision/controller.
• Experience in woodworking industry is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Implement company standard operating procedures.
• Manage multi-staff requirements including overtime and incentives.
• Resolve customer queries on orders.
• Verify boards received vs picking slips.
• Ensure health and safety compliance and PPE use.
• Meet output targets and quality standards.
• Quality assurance on machine output.
• Maintenance checks on machinery.
• Keep production schedule at least 2 days ahead.
• Provide 4 daily production status updates.
• Daily production tracking and reporting.
• Plan shifts and staff rotations.
• Plan overtime as required.
• Manage blades and consumables in production.
• Maintain storage areas and housekeeping.
• Maintain lead time of 2–3 days on orders.
• Assist in Warehouse as directed.
