Job summary

Placements24 in Richards Bay is seeking an experienced Production Shift Manager to lead all production activities on a dedicated shift, drive performance, and ensure safety and quality standards are met on site.

You will supervise a team, monitor KPIs, coordinate with maintenance, and implement lean improvements in a fast-paced, heavy-industry environment at the Richards Bay facility.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Production Supervisor, Shift Leader or Manager in manufacturing.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Solid understanding of production processes, quality and safety.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Experience in production planning and scheduling.
• Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends/holidays.
• Commitment to safe and productive work environment.
• Resilience under pressure in a demanding Richards Bay setting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all production activities during assigned shifts.
