About the Role

Our client, a rapidly growing renewable energy firm, is seeking an experienced and strategic Lead Procurement Officer to spearhead their procurement operations on a fully remote basis. This crucial role will involve developing and implementing innovative procurement strategies, managing key supplier relationships, and driving cost efficiencies across the organization's supply chain. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in strategic sourcing, contract negotiation, and supply chain management, with a proven ability to lead and mentor teams. Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive procurement strategies aligned with the company's renewable energy objectives.

Requirements

• Demonstrated success in developing and executing strategic sourcing plans and achieving significant cost savings.
• Expertise in contract negotiation, supplier relationship management, and risk mitigation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen understanding of financial metrics.
• Proven leadership abilities, with experience in managing and developing remote teams.
