Job summary

SARAO is seeking a capable professional to identify, develop and implement essential business policies, procedures and processes to ensure that Systems Engineering is effectively executed across projects in Cape Town and Carnarvon.

You will drive performance by applying domain knowledge of technology development and systems engineering, developing verification plans, and managing change control to keep policies and processes current and fit for purpose.

Qualifications

• Identify and implement business policies and processes for systems engineering.
• Experience in governance, verification and change-control in large projects.
• Ability to coordinate across multidisciplinary teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Improve the overall performance of the systems engineering function by applying domain knowledge to policies, procedures and artefacts.
• Ensure processes are implemented with verified impact and quality across multiple disciplines.
• Maintain and manage configuration, baselines, and change control, publishing changes as required.
• Drive continuous improvement of business processes to align with NRF standards.
