Placements24 is seeking a Senior Medical Aesthetician and Laser Technician for an on-site role in Klerksdorp, North West. The candidate will perform non-invasive aesthetic procedures, operate advanced laser devices, and provide expert skincare consultations tailored to individual skin needs.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years in medical aesthetics, holds a Somatology/Beauty Therapy degree, and demonstrates a deep understanding of skin health, safety, and best practices.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Somatology, Beauty Therapy, or a related field.
• Minimum 6 years of progressive experience as a Medical Aesthetician and Laser Technician in a clinical setting.
• Certified and experienced in operating multiple aesthetic lasers and energy-based devices (Alexandrite, Nd:YAG, IPL, RF, HIFU).
• Strong understanding of skin anatomy, physiology, and dermatological conditions.
• Proven ability to perform advanced skin treatments and achieve excellent patient outcomes.
• Excellent client consultation and communication skills, with trust-building focus.

Responsabilités

• Perform advanced medical aesthetic treatments including facials, peels, microdermabrasion, and microneedling.
• Operate and maintain laser and energy-based devices for treatments such as hair removal, skin rejuvenation, tattoo removal, and body contouring.
• Conduct thorough client consultations to assess skin conditions and create personalized treatment plans.
• Educate clients on pre- and post-treatment care to ensure optimal results.
• Maintain meticulous client records documenting treatment details and outcomes.
• Adhere to safety, hygiene, and clinic policies; stay updated with industry innovations.
• Provide skincare advice and product recommendations to complement treatments.
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals within the clinic.
• Ensure equipment is calibrated, maintained, and functioning correctly.
