Placements24 is seeking a Senior Medical Aesthetician and Laser Technician for a premier clinic in Mahikeng, North West. You will lead complex aesthetic procedures, manage laser equipment, and deliver patient-focused care in a medical aesthetic setting.

The role requires a qualification in Beauty Therapy or Somatology with a medical aesthetics focus, HPCSA laser safety training, and at least 6 years of hands-on experience. CPR/BLS certification is essential.

Formación

• Recognized qualification in Beauty Therapy or Somatology with medical aesthetics specialization.
• Certification or training in laser operation and safety (e.g., HPCSA registration or equivalent).
• Minimum of 6 years hands-on experience as a Medical Aesthetician and Laser Technician.
• Proficient in operating a variety of laser and light-based devices.
• In-depth knowledge of skin anatomy, physiology and common dermatological conditions.
• Excellent understanding of aesthetic treatment principles and contraindications.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with clients.
• Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to client safety and ethical practice.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team in Mahikeng, North West.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.

Responsabilidades

• Conduct comprehensive client consultations to assess skin conditions and discuss treatment goals.
• Perform advanced aesthetic treatments using laser technologies, including hair removal, photorejuvenation, and fractional laser treatments.
• Administer treatments such as chemical peels, micro-needling, and advanced facial therapies.
• Ensure safe and effective operation of laser and aesthetic equipment.
• Educate clients on treatment protocols, pre- and post-treatment care, and home skincare regimens.
• Maintain detailed client records including treatment plans and progress notes.
• Stay up-to-date with advancements in aesthetic technology and dermatology research.
• Adhere to hygiene, sterilization and infection control protocols.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships and ensure high patient satisfaction.
• Collaborate with doctors and nurses in the clinic.
