Placements24 in Rustenburg is seeking a Senior Medical Aesthetician and Laser Technician with extensive dermatology expertise to deliver advanced non-invasive treatments and patient care in a cutting-edge clinic.

You'll perform laser hair removal, skin rejuvenation and energy-based therapies, conduct thorough consultations, and work with physicians to ensure safety, accuracy, and optimal outcomes in a modern EMR-enabled practice in the North West.

Qualifications

Recognized qualification in aesthetics or related medical field.
Minimum 6 years hands-on experience in medical aesthetics or laser tech.
Certification and proven expertise operating multiple laser types (Nd:YAG, Alexandrite, Diode, Fractional, IPL).
In-depth knowledge of skin anatomy, laser physics and safety practices.

Responsibilities

Perform advanced aesthetic treatments including laser hair removal, skin rejuvenation, fractional laser, IPL and energy-based therapies.
Conduct client consultations, skin assessments, and develop personalized treatment plans.
Educate clients on pre- and post-treatment care and risks.
Operate and maintain aesthetic lasers and equipment, ensuring calibration and safety.
Monitor client responses and adjust parameters for safety and efficacy.
Maintain detailed EMR records of treatments and outcomes.
Collaborate with physicians to ensure integrated patient care and outcomes.
Promote clinic services and products with tailored recommendations.
Uphold professionalism, ethics and patient confidentiality.
