Job summary

Placements24 seeks an experienced Lead Mechanical Design Engineer to join a fully remote team focused on renewable energy technology. You will lead the design lifecycle for next-generation energy systems, from concept to manufacturability, and mentor junior engineers.

The role requires a Master’s in Mechanical Engineering and 10+ years of design experience with expert CAD/FEA skills. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams in a distributed environment and drive high-performance,

Qualifications

Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
10+ years of progressive mechanical design experience.
Lead or supervisory experience of at least 3 years.
Expert-level CAD proficiency and FEA/CFD analysis skills.
Experience designing large-scale mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

Lead design and development of complex mechanical systems for renewable energy applications.
Develop and oversee detailed mechanical designs using CAD software (NX, CATIA).
Conduct structural, thermal, and fatigue simulations to optimize performance.
Define system architecture and component specs based on requirements.
Mentor and guide a team of mechanical engineers in a remote setup.
Oversee prototyping, testing, validation, and manufacturability.
