Placements24 is seeking an experienced Lead Massage Therapist for a premier wellness retreat in Port Elizabeth. You will perform advanced massage therapies, assess clients, and design personalized plans while mentoring a team of junior therapists.

The role emphasizes delivering exceptional client care in a tranquil Eastern Cape setting. The ideal candidate holds a massage therapy certification with 5+ years of hands-on experience, including supervisory duties, and demonstrates strong anatomy

Qualifications

• Professional certification from an accredited massage therapy school.
• Minimum of 5 years hands-on experience as a massage therapist, with lead/supervisory experience preferred.
• Proficiency in multiple massage modalities and techniques.
• Strong knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and kinesiology.
• Excellent client communication and professional demeanor.

Responsibilities

• Perform various types of therapeutic massage (Swedish, deep tissue, sports, hot stone).
• Assess clients and develop personalized treatment plans.
• Educate clients on benefits and post-treatment care.
• Lead and mentor a team of massage therapists.
• Maintain a clean, safe treatment environment and health compliance.
• Manage treatment room supplies and materials.
