Key Responsibilities

• Provide a diverse range of therapeutic massage modalities, including deep tissue, sports massage, Swedish, and hot stone.
• Lead and mentor a team of massage therapists, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.
• Develop and implement personalized wellness coaching plans for clients, focusing on stress reduction, lifestyle improvements, and overall health.
• Conduct detailed client assessments to understand their physical and emotional needs, tailoring treatments accordingly.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in massage therapy, wellness, and coaching techniques.
• Ensure adherence to all professional standards, including hygiene, safety, and client confidentiality.
• Manage appointment scheduling and client flow efficiently within the wellness center.
• Contribute to the development and marketing of new wellness packages and services.
• Maintain accurate and comprehensive client records.
• Act as a brand ambassador for the center's commitment to holistic well-being.

Requirements

• A recognized qualification in Massage Therapy and/or Holistic Wellness Coaching.
• Minimum of 7 years of progressive experience in therapeutic massage, with at least 3 years in a supervisory or lead role.
• Expertise in multiple massage techniques and an in-depth understanding of human anatomy and physiology.
• Demonstrated experience in wellness coaching and guiding clients towards healthier lifestyles.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a strong ability to connect with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Certification in First Aid and CPR.
• Proficiency in using clinic management software for scheduling and record-keeping.
• A proactive and self‑motivated approach, with a passion for continuous professional development.
• Ability to manage team performance and provide constructive feedback.
• Located in or willing to relocate to Cape Town, Western Cape.
