Job summary

A leading recruitment firm in South Africa is seeking a qualified Maintenance Foreman/Millwright with a minimum of 10 years of practical experience. This role involves extensive responsibilities such as overseeing breakdown maintenance, conducting training sessions, and ensuring adherence to safety and maintenance standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong managerial skills, be proficient in communication, and have a solid understanding of control systems. Salary is R145 per hour with additional allowances.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years practical experience in maintenance.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Experience in ordering spare parts.

Responsibilities

• Attend to all breakdowns during or outside normal working hours.
• Conduct ongoing training with subordinates.
• Coordinate and plan all maintenance work.
• Ensure inventory of critical spares to minimize downtime.
