Job summary

Blue Pearl PTY is seeking a Senior Cyber Security Solution Architect to lead security architecture across IT and OT initiatives in Johannesburg, SA. You will develop reference architectures, standards and roadmaps and design secure enterprise and critical infrastructure architectures including SCADA networks.

You will drive Zero Trust, IAM/PAM, threat modelling and architecture risk assessments across cloud and on-prem environments, while guiding governance, audits and security requirements with

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems, cyber security or related field.
• Honours or Master’s preferred in cyber security, information systems or engineering.
• At least one cert such as CISSP, CISM, SABSA, TOGAF or CCSP required.

Responsibilities

• Lead security architecture authority for IT/OT initiatives.
• Align cyber security architecture across IT, OT, cloud and data domains.
• Develop target-state reference architectures, standards and roadmaps.
• Design secure architectures for enterprise IT, IC, SCADA and OT networks.
• Define segmentation and Zero Trust principles for IT/OT integration.
• Review architectures, conduct threat modelling and risk assessments.
• Develop multi-cloud security architectures (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).
• Guide IAM, PAM, authentication and access controls.
• Support governance, audits and procurement security requirements.
