Job summary

Boardroom Appointments seeks an Integration Architecture Specialist for a 6-month contract in Sandton, South Africa. You will own the integration service and shape standards across platforms, collaborating with project teams and business units to deliver complex interfaces and scalable solutions.

The role requires a degree in the IM discipline and experience with ERP landscapes, integration platforms, and safety-minded practices. LATAM language proficiency is a plus but not mandatory.

Qualifications

• Matric (Grade 12) is required.
• Undergraduate qualification (Bachelors degree or equivalent) in the relevant IM discipline is required.
• Postgraduate qualification in IM or extensive practical experience at similar complexity is desirable.
• ERP field, controls and risk mitigation experience is required.
• Proficiency in required languages; LATAM roles may require Portuguese or Spanish.
• Knowledge of business process improvement plans, risks and opportunities.
• Understanding of Company ERP landscape.
• Safety practices with a strong emphasis on safety principles.

Responsibilities

• Build and own the overall Integration Service.
• Build and own the standards, policies and development methodologies for the integration platforms.
• Develop integration solutions and own the solution architecture for the ICC.
• Provide expertise regarding integration of applications across the business.
• Determine specifications, plan, design, and develop integration solutions with project teams.
• Develop platforms, standards and architectures for services and code reuse.
• Stay current with emerging integration technologies and act as internal consultant.
• Incorporate interoperability design principles and resolve related issues.
• Oversee ICC projects including planning, resources and governance.
• Estimate technical costs and collate requirements to design solutions.
