We are looking for an experienced and motivated Lead HVAC Installation Technician to spearhead our installation projects. As the Lead Technician, you will be responsible for overseeing installation teams, ensuring adherence to safety standards, project timelines, and quality benchmarks. Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and guide a team of HVAC technicians during the installation of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
• Ensure all installations are performed in accordance with manufacturer specifications, building codes, and safety regulations in Tembisa .
• Conduct pre-installation assessments and site surveys to determine project scope and material requirements.
• Read and interpret complex blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals for HVAC installations.
• Perform quality control checks on completed installations, ensuring optimal system performance and client satisfaction.
• Train and mentor junior technicians, fostering a culture of continuous learning and skill development within the team.

Requirements

• Trade qualification in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning or a related HVAC certification.
• A minimum of 7 years of hands-on experience in HVAC installation, with at least 2 years in a lead or supervisory role.
• Proven ability to install and service a wide range of HVAC equipment, including split systems, ducted systems, and VRF systems.
• Strong understanding of electrical wiring, controls, and system diagnostics for HVAC applications.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting HVAC blueprints and technical specifications.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to all relevant regulations in Gauteng .
• Valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle.
