We are seeking motivated and experienced Band 4 Lead Health and Social Care Support Workers to join the Care at Home Service in Sutherland. Two opportunities are available, with one post supporting North Sutherland and one post supporting West Sutherland.
These roles have been developed as part of ongoing service improvement and redesign, with a focus on strengthening leadership, supervision and day-to-day oversight across the service.
The successful candidates will provide day-to-day operational support and supervision to Care at Home staff, helping to ensure safe, effective and person-centred care is delivered. You will play a key role in supporting staff in practice, monitoring the quality and standards of care, responding to changes in service need and contributing to the ongoing development and improvement of the service.
You will work closely with colleagues across the wider multidisciplinary team, supporting the coordination and continuity of care and helping to ensure that care delivery meets required standards.
Applicants should have experience within a Health and Social Care setting, with strong communication and organisational skills. Experience of supporting, mentoring or supervising staff is desirable. You should be flexible, proactive and able to work effectively both independently and as part of a wider team.
Due to the rural and geographically dispersed nature of the service, applicants will need to be able to work within the geographical area associated with their post, providing a consistent and visible leadership presence to Care at Home staff and responding to service requirements.
This is an excellent opportunity to take on a leadership role and contribute to the continued improvement and development of Care at Home services within North or West Sutherland.
Job share arrangements may be considered, subject to the needs of the service and the requirement to maintain consistent leadership and operational cover.
