Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional sound design experience; 2+ years in lead/senior role, preferably in games.
• Proven ability to create immersive, high-quality game soundscapes.
• Expertise with DAWs (Pro Tools, Reaper, Cubase) and game audio middleware (Wwise, FMOD).
• Strong acoustics, synthesis, and mixing knowledge for games.
• Experience with recording techniques and equipment.
• Excellent leadership and collaboration skills; portfolio required.

Responsibilities

• Lead the sound design team in creating and implementing high-quality audio assets for video games.
• Define the audio vision and style for game projects in collaboration with game directors and audio directors.
• Create, record, edit, and mix sound effects, ambient environments, and Foley.
• Oversee the integration of audio assets into the game engine using middleware like Wwise or FMOD.
• Manage sound asset libraries and ensure efficient organization and workflow.
• Mentor and provide technical and creative guidance to junior sound designers.
• Collaborate with composers and voice actors to ensure seamless integration of music and dialogue.
• Troubleshoot and resolve audio-related issues during development and testing.
• Stay current with the latest audio technologies, tools, and industry trends in game audio.
• Ensure audio implementation meets technical specifications and performance targets.
