Job summary

Lead Forensics is seeking a Lead Full Stack Software Developer in Cape Town to guide technical projects from design through production. You will work with stakeholders, product teams, and small squads to deliver scalable, secure software in AWS.

The role requires 10+ years of experience, deep TypeScript skills, and proven leadership in a fast-paced SaaS environment. Initial remote work with a future SA office is offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10+ years of software development experience.
• Strong TypeScript proficiency (5+ years) and full stack capability.
• Experience delivering SaaS platforms.
• Experience with CI/CD and secure DevOps practices.
• Ability to design scalable architectures and domain models.
• Proven leadership as a tech lead or team lead.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical projects from design to full implementation.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and product teams to define architecture.
• Prototype and validate areas of uncertainty with proofs of concepts.
• Decompose work into Epics and Stories for delivery.
• Develop production-ready code as an individual contributor and as a lead architect.
• Ensure quality, security, and operational excellence post-launch.
• Engage with customers and provide technical guidance.
