Qualifications

• Relevant qualification in Software Development or a related field.
• Strong commercial experience with .NET and C#.
• Experience leading, mentoring, or coaching development teams.
• Solid understanding of modern .NET development practices.
• Strong front-end development skills including HTML5, CSS, XML, and jQuery.
• Experience developing and integrating APIs.
• Strong SQL skills, including SSMS and SSRS.
• Database design, optimisation, and performance tuning experience.
• Exposure to AWS or Azure will be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop scalable front-end and back-end applications using modern development practices.
• Build, maintain, and document APIs and system integrations.
• Design, optimise, and maintain database structures for performance and reliability.
• Write efficient SQL queries, reports, and database solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and promote engineering best practices.
• Troubleshoot, enhance, and optimise existing systems.
• Contribute throughout the full software development lifecycle within an Agile environment.
• Work closely with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Lead, mentor, and support junior developers while fostering technical growth.
• Encourage innovative approaches, including the effective use of AI‑assisted development tools where appropriate.
