Job summary

Qualifications

• Relevant software development qualification is required.

Full Stack Developer (Technical Lead Focus)

Our client is seeking an experienced Full Stack Developer who enjoys building high-quality software while mentoring and guiding fellow developers. This role offers a balance of hands‑on development and technical leadership, making it ideal for someone who is passionate about clean code, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Approximately 60% of the role is focused on software development, with the remaining 40% dedicated to leading, coaching, and supporting the development team.

Responsibilities:

• Develop scalable front‑end and back‑end applications using modern development practices.
• Build, maintain, and document APIs and system integrations.
• Design, optimise, and maintain database structures for performance and reliability.
• Write efficient SQL queries, reports, and database solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and promote engineering best practices.
• Troubleshoot, enhance, and optimise existing systems.
• Contribute throughout the full software development lifecycle within an Agile environment.
• Work closely with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Lead, mentor, and support junior developers while fostering technical growth.
• Encourage innovative approaches, including the effective use of AI‑assisted development tools where appropriate.

Requirements:

• Relevant qualification in Software Development or a related field.
• Strong commercial experience with .NET and C#.
• Previous experience leading, mentoring, or coaching development teams.
• Solid understanding of modern .NET development practices.
• Strong front‑end development skills including HTML5, CSS, XML, and jQuery.
• Experience developing and integrating APIs.
