Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a dynamic Lead Esthetician to manage and inspire the skincare team at a premier spa in Durban. You will guide aesthetic direction, deliver advanced skincare treatments, and elevate the client experience.

With at least 6 years as an esthetician and 2 years in a lead role, you will train staff, develop new treatment menus, supervise inventory, and ensure top health and safety standards in KwaZulu-Natal.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 years as a practicing Esthetician, with at least 2 years in a lead or supervisory role.
• Extensive knowledge of skin types, conditions, and advanced treatment modalities.
• Proven ability to perform professional skincare treatments with precision and care.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Current esthetics license and relevant certifications in advanced techniques.
• Passion for skincare innovation and client well-being in KwaZulu-Natal.

Responsibilities

• Perform a wide range of advanced facial treatments, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, and other skincare procedures.
• Develop and implement new spa treatment menus and service protocols based on industry trends and client needs.
• Train and mentor junior estheticians, providing ongoing feedback and skill development support.
• Manage inventory of skincare products and professional supplies, ensuring optimal stock levels.
• Consult with clients to assess skin conditions, recommend personalized treatment plans, and educate them on home care routines.
