The ideal candidate holds a Master's in Electrical Engineering with 10+ years of relevant experience, proven leadership, and familiarity with CYME, PowerFactory or DIgSILENT.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the design and engineering of electrical systems for power distribution, substations, and industrial facilities.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field from a reputable university.
• Minimum of 10 years of proven experience in electrical systems engineering, with a strong focus on power distribution and industrial applications.
• Demonstrated experience in leading engineering teams and managing complex projects.
• Expertise in power system analysis software (e.g., CYME, PowerFactory DIgSILENT).
• In-depth knowledge of high and medium voltage equipment, protection schemes, and SCADA systems.
• Professional Engineer (PE) registration or equivalent is highly desirable.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
• Willingness to commit to an on-site role in Cape Town , undertaking occasional local travel.
