Job summary

F&M Staff Solutions is seeking a Lead Electrical Engineer - Power Systems for industrial and data centre projects. You will provide technical leadership and act as the electrical design authority for high-reliability power systems.

The role focuses on HV/MV and LV systems, resilience, redundancy and continuity in operations where power outages carry significant costs. South Africa citizen or PR preferred; drivers license required.

Qualifications

• Minimum BEng, BSc. or B. Tech in Electrical Engineering.
• Professional Registration with ECSA (Pr.Eng or Pr.Tech Eng) required.
• At least 10 years' consulting engineering experience with building services in an industrial environment.
• Interest to move over to Data Centres; experience with Data Centres is advantageous.
• South African Citizen/PR.
• Valid drivers license and own vehicle.
• No criminal record (this will be verified).

LEAD ELECTRICAL ENGINEER - POWER SYSTEMS (INDUSTRIAL AND DATA CENTERS)

We are looking for someone to provide technical leadership and act as the electrical design authority for high-reliability power systems across data centre and industrial infrastructure projects.

This person will lead the design and delivery of HV/MV and LV electrical systems, focusing on system resilience, redundancy, and operational continuity in environments where power failure has significant operational and/or financial impact.

Minimum requirements for the role:

• Minimum BEng, BSc. or B. Tech in Electrical Engineering.
• Professional Registration with ECSA (Pr.Eng or Pr.Tech Eng) required.
• At least 10 years' consulting engineering experience with building services in an industrial environment.
• Have an interest to move over to Data Centres (any experience in Building Services with Data Centres will be highly advantageous).
• South African Citizen/PR.
• Valid drivers license and own vehicle.
• No criminal record (this will be verified).
