Placements24 is seeking an experienced Early Childhood Development Coordinator to oversee and enhance educational programs in Benoni. The role leads a team of educators, ensuring high-quality learning experiences and a nurturing environment for young children.

You will guide curriculum implementation, staff training, parent engagement, and ensure compliance with educational standards, contributing to holistic child development and the center’s success.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
• At least 5 years in early childhood education with 2+ in a supervisory/coordination role.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Knowledge of child development, pedagogy, and program management.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor a team of early childhood educators, providing ongoing support and professional development.
• Oversee the implementation and evaluation of the curriculum, ensuring it meets developmental and educational standards.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with parents, facilitating communication and engagement in their child's education.
• Ensure the center operates in compliance with all health, safety, and regulatory requirements for childcare facilities.
• Organize and lead staff meetings, workshops, and community outreach initiatives.
