Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an proactive Early Learning Centre Assistant to support the educational team at a Vereeniging facility in Gauteng. You will help create a secure, enriching environment for young learners, assist teachers with daily activities, and ensure smooth classroom operations to promote high-quality early childhood education.

You will contribute to a stimulating learning atmosphere, help manage resources, and provide direct support to children while working within a committed team

Qualifications

• Passion for working with young children.
• Willingness to undergo background checks and obtain relevant certifications.
• Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist lead teachers in preparing and delivering engaging lesson plans and activities.
• Supervise children during playtime, meals, and rest periods, ensuring their safety and well-being.
• Maintain classroom cleanliness and organization, including tidying up play areas and materials.
• Support children with daily routines, such as handwashing, toileting, and meal times.
• Communicate effectively with teachers and parents regarding daily activities and child progress.
