Job summary

Dredging Africa invites applications for a Projects Manager to lead operations from contract award to completion. You will plan, coordinate and drive dredging projects, ensuring safety, schedule adherence, and budget control while managing site teams and subcontractors.

The role requires a Civil or Mechanical engineering degree (B.Eng/B.Tech), 8–15 years of relevant exp, PMP and NEC3/FIDIC knowledge. Willingness to travel and strong leadership are essential.

Qualifications

B.Eng or B.Tech (Eng) in Civil or Mechanical engineering.
8–15 years’ relevant experience leading teams on construction, mining or industrial sites.
Project Management Certification such as PMP.
NEC3 &FIDIC contract knowledge and experience.
Knowledge of dredging projects and equipment is a major advantage.
Contract management and project controls experience.

Responsibilities

Oversee planning, coordination, and execution of multiple dredging projects.
Develop execution plans, schedules, budgets and allocate project teams.
Monitor progress, safety, quality and regulatory compliance.
Manage client relationships, variations, claims and changes.
Report project performance to senior management and stakeholders.
Lead Site Managers and support team to meet targets.
