Job summary

Zeal HR (Pty) Ltd in Pretoria East is seeking an experienced Lead Door Installer to lead a small installation team. You will install hinged, pivot, sliding, frameless glass and wooden doors, interpret measurements and drawings, and ensure high-quality workmanship on each site.

Ideal candidates have proven door installation experience (wooden systems), strong leadership, excellent problem-solving and communication skills, and the ability to work independently with safety in mind.

Qualifications

• Experience in door installation, particularly wooden doors.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and communication abilities.
• Ability to work independently and take ownership of projects.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transport.
• Physically capable of performing installation duties.
• Adherence to health and safety requirements.
• Reside in the eastern suburbs of Pretoria or surrounding areas.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a small installation team.
• Install a variety of door systems: Hinged, Pivot, Sliding, Frameless Glass, Wooden, Custom.
• Ensure installations are completed to a high standard.
• Interpret measurements and installation drawings accurately.
• Communicate professionally with clients and on-site stakeholders.
• Coordinate installation activities and resolve site challenges.
• Maintain a safe, organised, and clean work environment.
• Ensure projects are completed within agreed timelines and quality standards.
