Key Responsibilities

• Lead the illustration team in conceptualizing, developing, and executing high-quality digital artwork for various projects, including character design, environment art, and promotional materials.
• Provide artistic direction, constructive feedback, and mentorship to junior and mid-level illustrators, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and skill development.
• Collaborate closely with Art Directors, Game Designers, and other stakeholders to translate project requirements and creative briefs into compelling visual narratives.
• Maintain a consistent artistic style and quality standard across all project assets, ensuring alignment with the overall brand identity and aesthetic.
• Develop and refine illustration workflows, pipelines, and best practices to enhance efficiency and productivity within the remote team.
• Manage illustration project timelines and deliverables, ensuring deadlines are met without compromising artistic integrity or quality.
• Stay abreast of the latest industry trends, tools, and techniques in digital illustration and art production, bringing innovative ideas to the team.

Requirements

• A minimum of 7 years of professional experience in digital illustration, with a significant portion spent in a leadership or senior role within the games, animation, or related entertainment industries.
• A strong and diverse portfolio that clearly demonstrates exceptional drawing, painting, and composition skills, with a focus on **character design**, **concept art**, and **storytelling**.
• Proficiency in industry-standard digital art software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Procreate, or similar. Experience with 3D sculpting tools (e.g., ZBrush, Blender) is a significant advantage.
• Demonstrated experience in leading and mentoring creative teams, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to provide clear, concise, and actionable feedback to artists.
• Strong understanding of art principles, including anatomy, perspective, color theory, lighting, and composition.
• Experience working in a remote team environment, with excellent time management and self-discipline skills.
• A Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, Illustration, Digital Media, or a related field is preferred but not essential if equivalent professional experience is demonstrated.
