Job summary

Old Mutual Life Assurance Company (SA) Ltd seeks an experienced Cloud Platform Engineer to lead secure AWS infrastructure and DevSecOps across the SDLC. You will drive EKS containerisation, security-by-design, and automation to enable .NET teams to ship reliable services.

You will partner with cloud, architecture, operations and security teams, implementing infrastructure as code, observability, and governance at scale.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• Certification in DevSecOps or relevant advanced security certifications.
• 6+ years of experience in DevOps, cloud or platform engineering, application delivery, or security, including leadership of enterprise DevSecOps or cloud platform initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of secure cloud platforms and DevSecOps capabilities across the SDLC.
• Containerisation and modernisation of applications onto Amazon EKS; architect cluster design and governance.
• Embed secure SDLC controls from design through deployment with clear quality gates and traceability.
• Design and maintain secure CI/CD pipelines for .NET and container workloads; implement risk-based security testing.
