Placements24 is seeking an experienced Lead Cloud Security Architect to guide a globally distributed, fully remote team. You will design, implement, and maintain secure cloud infrastructures across AWS, Azure, and GCP, shaping security posture from design to deployment.

You will mentor engineers, drive DevSecOps practices, and ensure regulatory compliance (GDPR, HIPAA, PCI DSS) across platforms while staying ahead of emerging threats and technologies.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of information security experience with at least 4 years in cloud security.
• Proven ability to design secure cloud architectures across AWS, Azure and GCP.
• Strong DevSecOps and CI/CD integration experience.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Relevant cloud security certifications preferred.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage secure cloud architectures and solutions on AWS, Azure, and GCP.

• Implement and manage security controls such as identity and access management (IAM), encryption, network security, and vulnerability management.

Requirements

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8+ years of experience in information security, with at least 4 years focused specifically on cloud security architecture.
• Proven experience designing and securing complex environments in AWS, Azure, and GCP.
• Deep understanding of cloud-native security tools, services, and best practices.
• Expertise in IAM, network security, data protection, and threat detection in cloud environments.
• Strong knowledge of DevSecOps principles and CI/CD security integration.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
• Relevant cloud security certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Security – Specialty, Azure Security Engineer Associate, GCP Professional Cloud Security Engineer) are highly preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fully remote, global team setting.
