Qualifications

• BEng/BSc/BTech in Civil Engineering or equivalent
• Professional registration with ECSA as PrEng or PrTechEng
• Preferably 10+ years of relevant municipal water and wastewater experience
• Strong experience in municipal services: bulk water, pipelines, reservoirs, pump stations, sewer infra
• Experience in potable water and wastewater treatment works and interfaces
• Proven full project lifecycle experience: feasibility to commissioning
• Experience in construction monitoring and contract administration
• Strong project management, client liaison, reporting and coordination
• Willingness to travel and be based in or relocate to Upington

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, design and delivery of municipal water and wastewater projects.
• Design and review water and wastewater treatment works and bulk infrastructure.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary civil, process, mechanical and electrical inputs.
• Prepare reports, specs, BOQs and tender documentation.
• Manage client, municipal, contractor and stakeholder interfaces.
• Oversee construction monitoring, contracts administration and commissioning.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior staff.
