Placements24 in Welkom is seeking an experienced Childminder Supervisor to oversee operations and ensure the highest quality of care in the center. You will lead a team of childminders, ensure regulatory compliance, and foster a nurturing environment for children.

The role emphasizes strong leadership, staff development, effective communication with parents, and ongoing quality assurance to support families served.

Qualifications

• Proven supervisory/management experience in childcare.
• Strong knowledge of child development, safety regulations, and licensing.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage staff, resolve conflicts, and motivate a team.
• Strong organizational and administrative capabilities.
• Relevant childcare qualification or equivalent experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, train, and mentor a team of childminders, ensuring adherence to policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular quality assurance checks and site visits to ensure safety and compliance.
• Develop and implement childminding schedules and ensure adequate staffing levels.
• Liaise with parents to address concerns, provide updates, and build strong relationships.
• Manage inventory of supplies and resources, ensuring the center is well-equipped.
• Oversee the implementation of the educational curriculum and daily activities for children.
