Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Childcare Facilitator to manage a small, nurturing childcare setting in Centurion. You will oversee daily operations, ensure a safe, stimulating environment, and develop age-appropriate curriculum while mentoring a small team.

The role requires 3–5 years of relevant experience, supervisory skills, and strong knowledge of child development. You will liaise with parents, maintain records, and uphold health and safety standards for the facility.

Qualifications

• Relevant qualification in Early Childhood Development (ECD) or related field.
• 3–5 years of experience in childcare or early learning.
• Supervisory or team-lead experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of child development and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement engaging, age-appropriate educational programs and activities.
• Supervise and guide children, ensuring their safety, health, and emotional well-being at all times.
• Manage and mentor a small team of childcare staff, providing support and professional development.
• Maintain accurate records of children's progress, attendance, and any incidents.
• Liaise with parents and guardians, providing regular updates and fostering a collaborative relationship.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and regulatory standards for childcare facilities.
