Job summary

Placements24 is seeking an experienced Childminder Supervisor for our Centurion childcare facility. You will oversee a team of childminders, design daily activity plans, and ensure safety and licensing compliance while liaising with parents for updates and issue resolution.

The ideal candidate has 3–5 years in a supervisory childcare role, strong leadership, and a genuine passion for child development in Gauteng.

Qualifications

• Minimum NQF Level 5 in Early Childhood Development or related field.
• 3–5 years of supervisory/management experience in childcare.
• Deep knowledge of child safety regulations, licensing requirements and child development.
• Proven leadership and team management capabilities.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with conflict-resolution abilities.
• Valid First Aid and CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor a team of childminders, providing guidance in daily tasks.
• Develop and implement daily activity plans for various age groups.
• Ensure compliance with national safety, health and licensing standards.
• Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment for safety and functionality.
• Serve as the primary contact for parents, addressing inquiries and resolving issues.

This position involves managing a team of childminders, developing daily schedules, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and liaising with parents to address concerns and provide updates. Key Responsibilities
