Job summary

Placements24 in Gauteng seeks a Lead Graphic Designer to head our design initiatives in Tembisa. You will lead design projects from concept to delivery, ensuring brand consistency and creating campaign materials that engage audiences.

You will manage junior designers, collaborate with marketing and product teams, and stay ahead of design trends while maintaining high quality and timely delivery in a fast-paced studio.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Fine Arts, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of professional graphic design experience.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
• Strong typography, color theory, layout and visual hierarchy.
• Experience with digital design (web and social media graphics).
• Excellent communication and project management in a team.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and execution of all visual assets for marketing campaigns, including digital ads, social media graphics, brochures, and presentations.
• Develop and maintain brand style guides, ensuring consistency across all company communications.
• Collaborate with marketing, content, and product teams to translate creative briefs into visually engaging designs.
• Provide art direction and feedback to junior designers and external agencies.
• Manage design projects from concept to final delivery, ensuring deadlines are met and quality standards are upheld.
• Research and implement new design trends and technologies to keep our brand's visual presence fresh and innovative.
