About the Role

Our client, a leading architectural practice renowned for its large-scale urban regeneration projects, is seeking an exceptional Lead BIM Architect to spearhead their Building Information Modeling (BIM) initiatives in Tembisa, Gauteng . This senior position is critical for ensuring the seamless integration of BIM technologies throughout the project lifecycle, from initial concept design to construction administration. You will be responsible for establishing and enforcing BIM standards, managing complex BIM models for mixed-use developments, and collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams. The ideal candidate will possess advanced BIM expertise, a strategic mindset, and a proven ability to lead and innovate within a fast-paced, project-driven environment. Key Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain BIM standards, protocols, and workflows across all projects.
• Lead the creation and management of complex BIM models for large-scale mixed-use developments.
• Coordinate BIM activities with internal design teams and external consultants, ensuring clash detection and model integrity.
• Provide training and support to architectural staff on BIM software and best practices.
• Collaborate with project managers and clients to define BIM execution plans.
• Oversee the generation of construction documents and data from BIM models.
• Stay abreast of the latest advancements in BIM technology and propose innovative solutions.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and client-specific BIM requirements.

Requirements
