Placements24 in Sandton, Gauteng seeks a Lead Automotive Software Developer to shape infotainment, ADAS, and vehicle connectivity. You will lead a team through the full software lifecycle, from concept to deployment, in a hands-on leadership role.

The ideal candidate has 7+ years in software, 3+ in leadership, strong embedded experience ( AUTOSAR, CAN, LIN, Ethernet ), and proficiency in C/C++/Python, RTOS, and embedded Linux.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 7 years of professional software development experience, with at least 3 years in a lead or management role.
• Extensive experience in embedded systems development in automotive (AUTOSAR, CAN, LIN, Ethernet).
• Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, and Python.
• Experience with RTOS and embedded Linux.
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Proven ability to design and architect scalable, maintainable software solutions.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with ADAS or infotainment systems is highly desirable.
