Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's in Mechanical/Automotive Engineering or related field.
• 7+ years in automotive powertrain development, with 3+ years in leadership.
• Deep understanding of ICE, thermodynamics and fluid dynamics.
• Experience with hybrid/EV powertrains is highly desirable.
• Proficiency with GT-Power, AVL Cruise and data acquisition tools.
• Strong leadership, communication and team collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of automotive engineers focused on powertrain performance optimization.
• Design, develop, and validate powertrain components for performance, efficiency, and emissions.
• Conduct advanced simulations and analyze test data to identify improvements.
• Oversee calibration of engine management systems across platforms.
• Collaborate with design, manufacturing and testing for seamless integration.
• Develop robust testing protocols for powertrain components and vehicles.
• Stay updated on electrification and alternative fuels and their impact on performance.
• Prepare technical reports and present findings to senior management.
• Contribute to strategic planning and roadmap development for powertrain technologies.
