Job summary

EXL is seeking a capable IT Asset Management professional in Cape Town to own the complete asset lifecycle from procurement to disposal. You will oversee HAM and SAM for desktops, laptops, servers, network devices, and peripherals, ensuring strict license and contract compliance across major OEMs.

You will maintain deep knowledge of asset processes and vendor contracts, driving procurement, deployment, and policy adherence in a fast-paced IT environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in end-to-end IT asset management, from procurement to disposal.
• Strong knowledge of hardware and software asset lifecycles and licensing terms.
• Ability to manage vendor contracts and licensing across major OEMs.

• Own the complete IT Asset Management portfolio end-to-end, from procurement through deployment, operational lifecycle management, license/contract compliance, and final disposal.
• Manage both Hardware Asset Management (HAM) and Software Asset Management (SAM), including desktops, laptops, servers, network devices, printers and related peripherals.
• Maintain deep working knowledge of IT asset processes, policies, and vendor/OEM software contracts and licensing terms (Microsoft, VMware, Oracle, Adobe, McAfee and other major OEMs).
