Job summary

Placements24 is seeking a Lead Architectural Designer in Mossel Bay to spearhead design initiatives and lead design teams from concept through construction documents. This senior role shapes creative solutions and drives design excellence across projects.

You will mentor junior designers, collaborate with clients and project managers, ensure codes and sustainability standards, and oversee presentations, models and drawings for landmark projects in the Mossel Bay region.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in Architecture or equivalent advanced degree.
• 10+ years of progressive architectural design experience, including 3+ in leadership.
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD and visualization tools.
• Strong portfolio of high-quality architectural projects.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Deep understanding of construction methods and project management.

Responsibilities

• Lead design process for multiple projects from concept to construction documents.
