Job summary

Sasa-vacancies in South Africa invites applications for the Early Childhood Development (ECD) Youth Programme on the SA Youth platform. Unemployed youth will be placed in local crèches, daycares and preschools to support early childhood education while earning a monthly stipend and gaining work experience.

Participants will assist teachers, support classroom activities, supervise children, and help with administrative tasks. Open to ages 18–34 with Grade 12, and an active SA Youth profile.

Qualifications

• Open to unemployed South African youth aged 18–34.
• Grade 12 (Matric) certificate required.
• Patient, energetic and caring individual.
• Active SA Youth profile required.

Responsibilities

• Assist qualified teachers and school managers in early learning centres.
• Support daily activities, reading circles, and basic counting games.
• Provide administrative support such as attendance and learning materials organization.
