Job summary

Advius (Pty) Ltd in Edenvale, South Africa, is launching its first iCAUR sales team for a new passenger vehicle marque under the Chery group.

You will own the full sales process from enquiry to delivery, prospect for new business, present vehicles, structure deals with the F&I desk, and follow up to build repeat business and referrals. This is a ground-floor appointment without an existing customer base, ideal for self-starters.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years’ vehicle sales experience within a franchise dealership.
• A track record of meeting monthly unit and gross targets, supported by figures.
• Valid Code B driver’s licence and reliable own transport.
• Computer literate – MS Office and dealership CRM/DMS systems.
• Working knowledge of vehicle finance, trade-in valuation and the deal file process.
• Resides in, or can travel reliably to, the Edenvale / East Rand area.
• Willing to work Saturdays, Sundays and public holidays in line with the dealership trading roster.
• Clear criminal and credit record.

Responsibilities

• Manage the full sales process from first enquiry through to delivery and handover.
• Qualify and convert walk-in, telephonic, online and social media leads, and follow each one through to a decision.
• Prospect actively for new business - own network, referrals, database calling, corporate and fleet leads.
• Present and demonstrate the vehicle range, including test drives, feature walk-throughs and competitor comparisons.
• Structure deals and work with the F&I desk on finance applications, trade-in valuations and approvals.
• Negotiate and close to the agreed unit and gross profit targets.
• Maintain accurate, current records on the dealership CRM/DMS - leads, follow-ups, pipeline and customer detail.
• Keep stock, floor display and demonstration units presentable, correctly priced and correctly represented.
• Manage the delivery and handover experience, including documentation, licensing and vehicle introduction.
• Follow up after delivery to protect customer satisfaction scores and generate repeat and referral business.
• Support brand launch activity - activations, displays, weekend shows and social media content for the brand.
