Job summary

A leading HR solutions company in Cape Town is seeking a Labour Law Consultant to join their team. The role requires a strong customer-first mindset and knowledge of labour law, alongside excellent communication skills. Responsibilities include client retention and addressing industrial relations issues, such as managing disciplinary inquiries. Qualifications

• 3+ years B. Degree or equivalent required.
• More than 1 year of experience in Industrial Relations essential.
• Valid driver's license and own vehicle is mandatory.
• More than 1 year of Industrial Relations experience is expected.

Responsibilities

• Retain and service clients regarding all IR issues.
• Chair disciplinary inquiries and draft judgments for clients.
• Assist with issuing warnings and compliance.
• Assist with issuing warnings to ensure compliance; draft and implement policies.
• Handle labour law issues from routine to more complex matters, including strike management.

Job Description

We currently have an exciting position available for a Labour Law Consultant, to be based at our Cape Town branch.

Responsibilities

You are responsible for Inclusive of, but not limited to:

• Retaining all clients as well as servicing clients in terms of all IR issues.
• All clients are contacted as per schedule

These typical Labour Law issues can range from:

• Chairing of disciplinary inquires
• Drafting of judgements for clients
• Assist with the issuing of warnings to ensure compliance
• Drafting and implementing of policies

To more complex issues like:

• Strike Management
