Job summary

Labournet is a proudly South African company with over 30 years of innovation in payroll, HR and employment legislative compliance. We are seeking a Labour Law Litigator to join our JHB branch and drive the full ADR lifecycle for clients.

You will manage client matters from investigation to arbitration, provide Labour Law advice, draft essential correspondence, assemble evidence, and represent clients at various dispute stages while contributing to business growth.

Qualifications

• LLB or B-Degree in IR/Law/HR/Industrial psychology or related field
• Admission as an Attorney or CCMA/BC Dispute Resolution advantageous
• Valid driver’s license and own reliable vehicle are essential

Responsibilities

• Attend to all Labour Law ADR matters from investigation through arbitration
• Provide Labour Law advice to clients and discuss complex disputes
• Draft correspondence to clients, CCMA/Council, union officials and other representatives
• Gather and compile evidence and prepare witness testimonies
• Represent or manage clients at conciliation, con/arbitration and pre-arbitration
• Maintain case status in the client management system
• Contribute to growth and client management of the business

Skills

LLB or degree in IR/Law/HR/Industrial

Attorney admission

CCMA experience advantageous

Driver's license

Own vehicle

Excellent communication

Willingness to learn

Ability to work under pressure
