Qualifications

• Previous experience as a Kitchen Porter, Steward, or in a similar cleaning role is advantageous.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Good understanding of hygiene and sanitation practices.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean and sanitize all kitchen equipment, utensils, pots, and pans.
• Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen floors, surfaces, and waste disposal areas.
• Assist chefs with basic food preparation tasks as needed.
• Manage stock levels of cleaning supplies and report shortages.
• Receive and store deliveries of food and supplies according to hygiene standards.
• Adhere strictly to all health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
