Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Kindergarten Teacher to join our client’s Paarl-based educational institution. The role focuses on nurturing intellectual curiosity, social skills, and emotional well-being in young learners as they transition to formal schooling.

Responsibilities include planning engaging lessons, maintaining a safe classroom, assessing progress, and collaborating with staff and families to support student development.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education or a relevant field, with a specialization in early childhood education.
• Teaching certification or license valid for kindergarten level.
• Proven experience teaching kindergarten or early elementary grades.
• Strong understanding of child development and age-appropriate learning strategies.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Creativity and the ability to make learning fun and engaging.

Responsibilities

• Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging lessons that cater to the developmental needs of kindergarten students.
• Create a positive, stimulating, and safe classroom atmosphere conducive to learning and exploration.
• Assess student progress through observation, assignments, and participation, providing constructive feedback.
