Placements24 in Welkom is seeking a passionate Preschool Teacher to lead a classroom for children aged 3-5, designing a stimulating curriculum and fostering a love of learning in a nurturing setting.

You will collaborate with parents and colleagues to support development, implement engaging activities across literacy, numeracy, arts, and movement, and ensure a safe, inclusive environment that prepares children for primary school.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of preschool teaching experience.
• Knowledge of child protection and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver a comprehensive preschool curriculum focusing on literacy, numeracy, and social-emotional skills.
• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
• Assess children's progress through observation and appropriate assessment tools, providing feedback to parents.
• Manage classroom dynamics and guide children's behavior effectively and compassionately.
• Collaborate with parents to support their child's learning and development at home and in school.
• Plan and execute engaging educational activities, including arts, crafts, music, and physical play.
