Job summary

FlySafair is looking for a warehouse associate in Johannesburg to support spare parts management across warehouses. The role involves cycle counts, accurate record-keeping, and ERP data updates to reflect movements.

Responsibilities

• Assist with weekly cycle counts in warehouses.
• Maintain accurate records and file documentation for spare parts movement.
• Update the SAM ERP to reflect movements.
• Direct spares to outstations, hangars and airports as required.
• Create shipping and packaging documentation per Work Instructions.
• Update Flow Centric in accordance with SAM on receipt or dispatch.
• Deliver spares to all hangars.
• Housekeeping to be done daily.
• Draw and issue spares from the main warehouse.
• Handle spare requests received by email, phone or WhatsApp.
• Perform general warehouse duties as requested by supervisor.
• Ensure warehouse access is controlled at all times.
• Attend to ad-hoc tasks as requested by management.

• Minimum of 1-2 years' experience in Warehousing (Essential);

Responsibilities

• Assist with weekly cycle counts in any of the warehouses as and when needed;
• Ensure precise record-keeping and filing of all pertinent documentation related to the movement of spare parts;
• Update the stock ERP(SAM) to reflect relevant movements;
• Direct parts to outstations, hangars, and airports where they are required;
• Create documentation for shipping purposes as well as packaging as per Work Instructions;
• (COMAT) Update Flow Centric in accordance with SAM as soon as parts are received or dispatched;
• Deliver spares at all hangars;
• Housekeeping to be done daily;
• Draw and issue spares from main warehouse;
• Attend to all requests for spares sent through via email, phone calls or WhatsApp;
• Carry out general warehouse duties as requested by supervisor;
• Ensure access to warehouse is controlled at all times;
• Carry out ad-hoc tasks as requested by management.
