Job summary

CIRO Full Service Beverage Company (Pty) Ltd in South Africa seeks a Junior Storeman to support daily stores operations and inventory control. You will handle receiving, dispatch and stock counts, ensuring accurate records and timely issuing of spares to regions and technicians.

The role requires Grade 12 and at least 2 years of stores/spares experience, with SAP Stock Control knowledge and proficiency in MS Office. Fluency in English is essential, and strong teamwork is expected.

Qualifications

• Grade 12 / Matric essential.
• Minimum 2 years working experience in a stores and spares environment.
• SAP Stock Control experience is advantageous.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Proficient in MS Office with good Excel knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Receiving of spares, both international and local, per SOP.
• Dispatch of spares to regions, cross border agents, road and workshop technicians.
• Maintain stock and cycle counts; update SAP bin locations and report stock levels.
• File technician transfers, manage consumables orders and local supplier orders.

An exciting opportunity exists for a Junior Storeman to assist with day to day operational duties in the stores and activities related to accurate inventory control.

Key Performance Areas

Receiving

• Receiving of spares both International and local according to detailed standard operating procedure (SOP)
• Ensuring all invoice queries are identified and reported to the Spares Team Leader.

Dispatch

• Ensuring that the issuing of spares to regions and cross border agents is done on time and accurately.
• Ensuring that the issuing of all spares to the Road Technicians is done daily. Ensure that the correct Item code and quantity versus the original request is correctly transferred to the correct storage locations.
• Ensure that the issuing of spares to the Workshop Technicians is consumed immediately and captured on the Job Card provided by the Technician.
• Creating and pre-packing of installation kits.

Stock and Cycle counts

• Ensure that regular pre-quarterly counts are done prior to quarterly stock counts.
• Accurate bi-annual stock counts must be completed.
• Bin locations to be maintained on SAP.
• Monitor and report low stock and Out of stock items as well as special projects.
• Ensure constant daily housekeeping.

Reporting and Administration

• All technicians transfers to be filed and captured in daily folders.
• Consumable orders to be placed weekly with the Team leader.
• Periodically place orders for consumables and local suppliers when need be.

Knowledge Required

• Minimum 1 year’s experience in SAP Stock Control.
• Strong technical knowledge will be advantageous.
• Sound understanding of coffee machine spares and components.
• Good knowledge and understanding of stock control and inventory processes.
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
• Proficient in MS Office with a good understanding of Microsoft Excel and related applications.
