Job summary

QE Services IT Recruitment's client in Tygerfalls, Bellville is seeking a Junior Software Developer to join on a permanent basis. The role focuses on developing CRM components, client portals, and mobile applications (Android/iOS).

The candidate should have a relevant Bachelor's degree and 2–3 years of software development experience, with practical C# and JavaScript framework knowledge. Experience with SQL Server and CRM systems is advantageous, as is Agile/Scrum and Flutter.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science or Software Engineering.
• 2-3 years' software development experience.
• Practical experience with C# development.
• Experience with modern JavaScript libraries/frameworks (Angular, Underscore, KnockoutJS).
• Experience with SQL Server and software development lifecycle.
• Experience with CRM systems, client-facing portals or mobile app development is advantageous.
• Agile/Scrum experience is advantageous.
• Flutter experience would be beneficial.

My client based in Tygerfalls, Bellville is currently looking for a Junior Software Developer to join their team on a permanent basis.

IT / FINANCE

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain components of the CRM platform and client-facing portals.
• Develop and support components of Android and Apple client applications.
• Contribute to the development of software in line with the future architecture and technology roadmap.
• Assist with improving and enhancing the existing software architecture.
• Collaborate closely with Business Analysts (BAs), Testers and the external software development partner.
• Follow established coding standards, development practices and software development methodologies.
• Identify opportunities to improve coding practices, processes and application functionality.
• Provide technical support and a customer-focused service to CRM users, including Advisers and internal business stakeholders.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle, from requirements through development, testing and implementation.

Qualifications & Experience

• Relevant tertiary Bachelor's degree, such as:
• BSc in Computer Science
• BSc in Software Engineering
• Information Technology or a related qualification.
• 2-3 years' software development experience.
• Practical experience with C# development.
• Experience with modern JavaScript libraries/frameworks, preferably Angular, Underscore or KnockoutJS.
• Experience working with SQL Server.
• Good understanding of the software development lifecycle and development processes.
• Experience within the financial services industry would be advantageous.
• PHP knowledge would be beneficial.
• Experience with CRM systems, client-facing portals and/or mobile application development would be advantageous.
• Experience with Android and Apple application development would be beneficial.
• Agile/Scrum experience would be advantageous.
• Flutter experience would be beneficial.
