Job summary

QE Services IT Recruitment's client in Tygerfalls, Bellville is seeking a Junior Software Developer to join on a permanent basis. The role focuses on developing CRM components, client portals, and mobile applications (Android/iOS).

The candidate should have a relevant Bachelor's degree and 2–3 years of software development experience, with practical C# and JavaScript framework knowledge. Experience with SQL Server and CRM systems is advantageous, as is Agile/Scrum and Flutter.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science or Software Engineering.
• 2-3 years' software development experience.
• Practical experience with C# development.
• Experience with modern JavaScript libraries/frameworks (Angular, Underscore, KnockoutJS).
• Experience with SQL Server and software development lifecycle.
• Experience with CRM systems, client-facing portals or mobile app development is advantageous.
• Agile/Scrum experience is advantageous.
• Flutter experience would be beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain components of the CRM platform and client-facing portals.
• Develop and support components of Android and Apple client applications.
• Contribute to the development of software in line with architecture and technology roadmap.
• Assist with improving and enhancing existing software architecture.
• Collaborate with BAs, testers and external development partner.
• Follow coding standards and development methodologies.
• Identify opportunities to improve coding practices and application functionality.
• Provide technical support to CRM users and stakeholders.
• Participate in the full software development lifecycle from requirements to deployment.
